Custom Consolidation Overview

Custom consolidation enables you to run rate of return analysis by manager, index and time period. There are two basic analyses that can be performed in Returns: Market Index and Custom Consolidation.

Market Index displays the rate of return for selected indexes for the time periods defined.

Custom Consolidation displays, by time period, the individual rate of return for each manager selected, and the aggregate rate of return.

These analyses generate three types of reports: Index Detail by Country, Index Detail by Sector, and Custom Consolidation.

Guidelines

There are three parameters that must be set in Custom Consolidation Filters before you can run a custom consolidation analysis:

Market Index - select a type of index then select one to ten indexes to analyze
Time Period - select a reference date then select one to five time period frequencies
Custom Consolidation Category Group - select the return default category group to determine whether or not the return calculation method includes fees
